As the name suggests, bridle leather is historically used for horse bridles. This is due to it’s very high strength and weather resistance.

For this reason we feel it is the perfect leather for leads and collars and although it will patina, with care they should never need to be replaced.

This is a fairly simple Bridle lead, constructed from a 20mm strip of English Bridle and solid brass saddlers rivets.

A lot of time is spent bevelling, burnishing and sealing the edges for that refined look, as well as comfort and water resistance.
