The Pennine belt could be considered to be the little brother to our Lifetime belt. It uses the same J&FJ Baker oak bark tanned leather and the same solid brass west end buckle, but in a smaller 32mm width, and without the edge creases, giving a slightly more minimalist look.
This is a 100% English made belt. Using Oak Bark Tanned Bridle Butt leather from J&FJ Baker of Colyton, Devon, the last remaining Oak Bark Tannery in England. The Brass West End buckle is cast in sand in Walsall. The brass saddler’s rivets and tool used to set the rivets, are also made in England.
J&FJ Baker leather goes through a long gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide unlike modern tanning methods. The process takes from 12 to 24 months, using the best hides and Oak bark from Wales, the Forest of Dean and Cumbria.
The hides are dyed by hand at the tannery in an irregular way giving a unique appearance to each belt.
The result is a beautiful piece of full grain leather, full of character and showing scars and bites from it’s previous life.
OUTLET BELTS – These belts may have been in storage, or have the odd mark on. All of them are in saleable condition and the price reduction reflects the condition. Anything very notable will be pointed out. These belts are quoted by the “Trouser size” they fit. Do not use our sizing guide for ready made outlet belts. This particular belt was made as a sample for a store to see, it is in good condition, but does not have our logo on. If you would like the logo adding, please state this in the comments box at checkout.

There is also the option for Chicago screws in place of the rivets, giving the possibility of changing the buckle in the future.
